The foundation of DPS Durg was laid in a small office in April, 2003. Initiating a school involves many challenges as an ongoing process but these were dealt with a lot of patience, forbearance and determination. The school being ISO certified has streamlined work system. It got its affiliation to CBSE in the second year itself of its inception. Furthermore, the development of the school with a hostel, homelike, well maintained, conserving energy while utilizing solar energy, water conservation with rain harvesting. CCTV camera to monitor student’s safety and security, inclusiveness of a large no. of children of the unreached segment of society (Parwaz Shiksha Kendra) and the physically challenged, introduction of French, German and Urdu in a bid to promote linguistic intelligence and skills of students, upto class X, introduction of Educomp digital initiatives to support quick learning (Smart classes) are the precious feathers in the illustrious cap of the schools innovative and trend setting ventures. The school is always entrusted with responsibility of hosting Inter-DPS events every year attributed to its meticulous planning and smooth conduct.
